On this blog I want to explore questions about South Korean society, politics and cities that I am curious about myself.

My aim is to apply my social science background, German point of view, and Korean language skills to deconstruct complex relationships and present new perspectives on current issues in South Korea to the English-speaking part of the internet.

Please note: I’m not Korean, so I’m always just learning myself – hence the blog name “K-Study Room”. Of course I have my opinions, but I strive to understand any issue from the Korean perspective first before adding any additional thoughts.
